  Positiv: RECEIVED THE CEMENT MIXER PUT IT TOGETHER. PUT IN FIRST LOAD 12 SAND 2 LIME 2 CEMENT WORKING PERFECT WENT OUT FOR 15 MINUTES SMELLED A BURNING SMELL LIKE MOTOR WINDINGS. EMPTIED MIXER AND SWITCHED OFF , THE MOTOR AND METAL BARS ATTACHED TO MOTOR WERE VERY HOT THE TERMINAL HEAT CUT OUTS DID NOT SWITCH OFF THE MOTOR/MIXER I HAVE USED IT AGAIN BUT ONLY FOR A SHORT TIME,APART FROM CUT OUT THE MOTOR SHOULD NOT BE GETTING THAT HOT AS I HAVE NOT OVERLOADES IT. CAN YOU PLEASE SORT OUT PROBLEM MAYBE SEND NEW MOTOR

  Positiv: When I realized that I had made a wrong order I wrote and asked to cancel the order. On the page Toolidee had written that orders could be cancel if done within two days before the order is shipped - I did that but only got a copy of my order in reply. I wrote again and was then told it was not possible to cancel. I have no problem with with the tool but when Toolidee ignores my request to cancel or perhaps they sent the order within 24 hours (which in itself is good service) you should change the text to read -you can cancel the order within 24 hours IF it has not already been shipped.

  Positiv: Read the reviews here and was very unsure, closed my eyes and hit the buy button, my sphincter tightened and the worrying started. Ordered €650 worth of metal working machines/tools. Recieved confirmtion emails, track and trace nos. promptly. Order arrived on time as promised, a couple of the boxes were damaged but all machines/tools were perfectly fine. I have to say I would buy from them again no problem. Side note I also ordered a tool from Clarkes Distributors Ireland a day and a half before this order went in (I was going to buy all this stuff from Clarkes but too expensive). Toolsidee order came from the Netherlands to Ireland in 3 working days. 5 days and nothing from Clarkes, a 2 hour drive from me btw (39 hour walk according to Google). So there you go, you live and you learn, I saved money and I get to use the tools this year... Thank you Toolsidee. I hope this helps.

I then received several e-mails asking for additional charges relating to import and customs charges, which were not made clear at the time, and were not expected due to ordering from a co.uk site.
